My wife and I stop into Scott's Pub every time we visit Edinburgh. Located near the end of Rose Street, this is a small pub that has inexpensive drinks and televisions to watch sports or the news, however no WiFi. At one time they used to serve good food, however now they are strictly a bar. Stop in and have a pint. #edinburghpubs #edinburghbars

Can't imagine I'd rush back here. It's an old-fashioned style boozer with wooden tables, chairs and flooring, but sorry to say there's not much in the way of character. It was difficult to tell on a Saturday night whether the crowd that was there were locals or transients, so I've no idea whether there's a regular group going there or not. Service was OK, though there's not a great range of beers. There are definitely better bars elsewhere in Rose Street.
